If it is summer in Barbados, that one thing, Crop Over Festival is average. Bands have begun booking airline tickets and enable people. Bajan Crop Over is carnival, is a beautiful display of color and beauty. People come in their numbers this event once a year. Crop Over comprises Kadooment day, Kiddie Kadooment, calypso competitions and other displays of folklore and arts and crafts. Crop is over in the history of the island,, One under British rule and a producer of sugar in the days of slavery, it would mean the end of the season and sugar there was a big party. Crop Over begins in June and ending on the day Kadooment, the first Monday in August.
The calypso competition presents a battle for the title of Calypso Monarch. The Calypso shows often feature satire sometimes has problems in society and political drama. An older crowd usually frequents them, but many of the youngerGeneration seems to enjoy shows.
